Advice SquadTackling Business Crime


Hosted by The University of Salford Innovation Park in partnership
with Salford City Council, CAMPUS, Chapel Street Business
Group and Manchester Chamber of Commerce

This FREE event will focus on crime issues particularly as they
impact on small, local businesses. Speakers will present some
initiatives underway by businesses, designers and crime-reduction
agencies to reduce the impact of crime, focusing particularly on
property crime.



A key aim of this evening – comprising presentations, break-out
sessions and an exhibition – is to forge new relationships between
local businesses, local authorities, crime reduction agencies and
others, to exchange experiences and insights and to address
crime in the local area.

At this event businesses will receive a Special Advice Squad
pack containing practical business advice, latest research and
sign posting to appropriate funding and grant support offered
locally, you can implement easily in businesses to reduce crime.
