Reviews of Electronic Resources

Interactive Early Modern Literary Studies undertook a series of reviews of electronic resources. Due to the success of these pilot reviews, more recent reviews of electronic resources are to be found in the main issues of EMLS.

iEMLS reviews:

Hardy M. Cook (Bowie State University) reviews Chadwyck-Healey's Editions and Adaptations of Shakespeare CD-ROM and its Internet equivalent delivered by Literature Online (LION).

Gabriel Egan (Shakespeare's Globe London) and John Jowett (Shakespeare Institute, University of Birmingham) review Early English Books Online which is Bell and Howell's (formerly UMI) electronic version of their microfilm collections which provide full texts of the items listed in STC I (Pollard and Redgrave), STC II (Wing), and the Thomason collection.

Catherine Alexander (Shakespeare Centre, Stratford on Avon) reviews Chadwyck-Healey's English Poetry, Early English Prose Fiction, and English Verse Drama CD-ROM databases and their Internet equivalents delivered by Literature Online (LION).

E. Thomson Shields (East Carolina University) reviews the English Short Title Catalog, an online database incorporating all of STC I (Pollard and Redgrave), STC II (Wing), and later material.

Hardy M. Cook (Bowie State University) reviews Chadwyck-Healey's Bible Editions CD-ROM and its Internet equivalent delivered by Literature Online (LION).

Elizabeth Hagglund (University of Birmingham) reviews the Brown University Women Writers Project and the Perdita Project.
