ITT routes

A teacher's perspective.

Teacher and pupil Denbigh High School is a 11-16 mixed community school with approximately 1120 students, located within an urban area of Luton. Here a newly qualified teacher, Chris Carter compares two ITT routes: namely SCITT and PGCE.

From a teacher's perspective, Chris, discusses how the SCITT suited him and compares the SCITT and PGCE routes strengths and weaknesses in preparing teachers for the classroom. He uses the experiences of colleagues who took the PGCE route and his own SCITT experiences to do this.
