There are three different aspects to change management: adapting to change, controlling change and effecting change. This seminar covers all three aspects. It is aimed at staff who are being affected by change, are having to manage change and who are, or will be, leading change.
It will look at how we plan, initiate, realize, control and finally stabilize change within our organisations.

Course objective: To provide an introduction to the principles and processes of managing change and to apply them to some of the changes faced by delegates.
Course facilitator: Peter Lumley, Personnel and Training Consultant.

Next Generation 10

The Next Generation programme will continue to run in 2009 thanks to an agreement between SINTO and Renaissance Yorkshire.

Next Generation is a management development programme aimed at staff from Museums, Archives and Libraries in Yorkshire. The aim of the programme is to give staff newly promoted to a management post or aspiring to such a post a basic grounding in management skills such as staff management, project management and financial management.

Next Generation is a long standing programme that was previously delivered by MLA Yorkshire. In 2008 SINTO took over the administration of this programme and this year SINTO and Renaissance Yorkshire have agreed to continue the programme.
