The AHRB assumed responsibility for the administration of the former British Academy Humanities Research Board Institutional Fellowship Research Scheme in February 1999.
The
British Academy generously funded the Corvey project in 1996 with a view
to bringing the benefits of technology to bear on research into English
literature.
Corvey
Women Writers on the Web brings together Internet/Web technology and
database technology to facilitate academic research into the window on
English literature opened up by the discovery of the Corvey collection,
and to make the results of that research available to anyone interested
in women's writing of the period.
