Safety Instructions

The machine must be switched off and the plug removed from the socket before contact is made with the homogeniser head, as when changing screens or stripping down for cleaning

Operating Instructions

Select and fit the appropriate screen, fine screens for thin liquids, coarse screens for viscous liquids or liquids containing diced fruit or vegetables

Place the liquid container under the homogeniser head and lower the head into the liquid ensuring a distance of at least 1cm is maintained between the bottom of the container and the homogeniser head

Select a slow speed to begin the process and then increase the speed gradually to homogenise the liquid

On completion of homogenisation, slow the speed down gradually and then bring the machine to a stop before removing the liquid container for examination

Notes

The homogeniser creates much noise when operated at high speed

Cleaning the machine is done in situ except for the head which is disassembled and cleaned separately
