The art of reflection

Introduction

This page contains resources to enable students to understand the value of reflection and use reflection as part of the learning process. Reflecting on one's own experiences is a valuable skill. Some students seem to find it as a difficult skill to acquire. Once a student is able to indentify a critical incident and describe it in an objective way, he and she can then assess its impact on their learning and then write about it. So what is a critical incident? An interpretation of an incident can often be affected by our own values or assumptions. Transcript - Questionning assumptions Part 1, Questionning assumptions Part 2
