Structure of the
Corvey Women Writers on the Web site
The CW3 site
is based around a core of Author Pages, Book Pages, and Contribution Pages.
- Author Pages list the works of each author which are included in the Corvey collection,
together with any CW3 contributions and contemporary material relating to
that author or works of that author, and any related links associated with the author.
- Book Pages show all relevant information about a particular work in the Corvey collection,
including indicated authorship, publication details, volumes, and ISBN number. They also
show facsimile images of title pages where available, keywords which CW3
contributors have associated with the work, CW3 contributions and contemporary
material relating to the work, and related links.
- Contribution Pages contain the text of CW3 contributions and contemporary material.
These may be critical reviews, synopses, biographies, contemporary reviews, etc.
These pages are interrelated and hence interlinked in many ways. Throughout the site, clicking on
the name of an author will take you to the relevant Author Page; clicking on the title of a book will
take you to the relevant Book Page; and clicking on the title of a contribution will take you to
the relevant Contribution Page.
There are two principal routes to finding information you are interested in.
- Through the alphabetical author list; if you want information about a particular author or the
works of a particular author, the easiest way is through the alphabetical author list, accessible
via the 'alphabet' at the top of each page.
- Using the search facility: the CW3 site offers powerful searching facilities, for
locating authors, works, or contributions, by using a variety of search criteria. The search
page is also available from the top of each page in the site.
