Basic Principles of Operation

Used to process batch quantities of soup, sauces and stews

The tilting pan consists of a steam jacketed bowl which is connected to a steam generator for heating and mains water for cooling

Inside the pan a rotating anchor paddle is used to keep the contents stirred and to prevent them from sticking to the side

The pan is tilted forward by way of a rack and pinion mechanism to pour out the contents
