Aims of the project:
- to identify the factors that impact on recruitment and retention of NQTs
- to identify school leadership teams’ (SLTs) needs in relation to high quality NQTs
- to identify how far NQTs meet these needs: their preparation for their role; their integration into schools and performance over time
- to identify how schools measure the performance and progress of NQTs
- to disseminate project findings and examples of good practice
Dissemination of findings and good practice will be through:
- a designated web site
- publications and professional networks
