To start the workshop the organizers and participants will briefly introduce themselves. This will be followed by an overview of the day and what is to be achieved.
(Includes a 15 minutes break)
Each of the 4 groups who were assigned prior the workshop will present the presentation they collaboratively produced before the workshop. Each group will be given 20 minutes to present their work and 10 minutes shall be dedicated to questions.
The workshop participants shall engage in a general discussion of the presentations eliciting common and differing themes.
Lunch with informal discussions
The workshop participants will form groups of 3 to 4 members, with a workshop organizer in each group. Groups shall be arranged dependent on their interest of a theme that emerged from the morning’s activities. Each group shall then discuss their selected theme and document their discussion.
Each group shall present and discuss the results of their group activity to the other workshop participants.
The workshop participants shall come together to unify their outputs from their group discussions to create a poster to be presented at the CHI 2008 conference.
To conclude the workshop organizers shall provide an overview of what has been discussed during the workshop and discuss the future direction of the DPD workshop series.
