Case Study 4. The politics of widening participation

Introduction

In this case study we look at the community and the way students view Higher education and its potential impact on their lives. The case study takes an in depth look at student motivation. The audio sketches describe the needs, desires and the aspirations of students from the learner's' viewpoint. The video is an attempt to see the situation from those who are responsible for strategic planning in a university, both from the needs of the university and the student body.
