Community Involvement

Introduction

In this section we look at the need for Universities to adapt to the changing landscape of Higher Education. What is its relationship with the community? What is the value of work-based learning? These themes and questions can be studied through the experiences of both staff and students. There are 2 case studies. A case study on how students' see their role in the community and how it relates to their studies and real world experiences. A case study that looks at widening participation in education and how different sections of the community see Higher Education.
