The Partners

The Centre for Promoting Learner Autonomy
This Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CETL) has been instrumental in connecting debates across different parts of the university. These debates have served to highlight different opinions about student autonomy and encourage the university to listen more closely to students. The CETL provides an area to take forward innovation in the area of student autonomy and is strongly supporting this project.

The Education Guidance Service
The PDP process can highlight students' individual academic feelings that students have about their course. The Education Guidance Service is a central part of Student Services and provides an impartial but connected space which can support students who have ambivalent feelings about their progress at university. The project provides an innovative opportunity to integrate course based and central student support in the context of an electronic medium.

The Learning and Teaching Institute (LTI)
As a respected source of expertise in both educational research and expertise about how to support PDP and the appropriate use of learning technologies, the LTI will be working in partnership with academic practitioners to develop the project strategy.
