This is the first Australasian-Pan African conference addressing the problem of financing of infrastructure and services for emerging and developed nation in the Southern Hemisphere.

The conference will bring together the latest in research findings and innovation as well as addressing current practical real world problems and endeavouring to find solutions in a workshop environment.

The conference will thus appeal to both researchers, practitioners and government officials interested in the exchange of new ideals and scholarly findings.

Please submit paper and detailed abstract by 25th October 2002 with the full edited and revised paper by 30th November, 2002 to be published upon recommendations by a refereeing panel in Special

Submission Guidelines

  1. The deadline for submission of abstract is 25 October 2002, full papers, by 30 November 2002.

  2. A full copy of each paper must be submitted on double-space typed format limiting the work to a maximum of 20 pages of A4 paper including title and author details, appendix, tables, references, and exhibits.

  3. The word limit is: 5,000 for an academic paper; 7,500 for a case-study; and 1,500 for a research discussion résumé.

  4. A hard copy of the work must be submitted together with a 3.5" disk version Microsoft-WORD (any other has to be in TEXT/ASCII format).

  5. Each paper must include a single-space typed abstract in no more than 150 words and up to eight key words. All the printed work must have address and affiliation of author(s) in camera-ready format on A4 paper size keeping one-inch margin on let/right and top-bottom. Standard abbreviation may be used.
  6. All submissions will be refereed.

  7. Referee's results will be notified to author(s) by early November.

  8. Papers for publication in the Conference Proceedings Book will be restricted to those with full conference registration and who intend to appear in person to present the work. One conference presentation only per delegate. There is no restriction on the number of co-authorships.

  9. Authors and co-authors must arrange for copyright of their own publications.

  10. Conference organisers / publishers will hold the copyright of works published reserving the right to amend each work submitted, if necessary, for final publication. A few selected papers will be recommended for publication in the International Journal of Public-Private Partnerships, ISSN 1463-371X, Website: www.ijppp.com

English is the Conference Language
Academic paper up to 5,000 words; case-study up to 7,500 words;
research résumé/commentary/review papers up to 1,500 words.
One presentation per delegate.

All registrations above will have a place in the Conference proceedings and delegate status and access to the daily activities of the Conference 2003.

This includes a copy of the conference papers, programme, information pack, lunches and dinners.

Full registration by 30 December, 2002 is required for all those speaking at the conference.
