Secret identity unveiled

Higher Futures' new identity was unveiled during our launch event at Sheffield's Millennium Galleries and Winter Garden yesterday evening.
We revealed the new name for South Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network and gave participants the first opportunity to view the Higher Futures visual identity, designed by local agency theWorkshop.
The event also represented the first meeting of key stakeholders, who will be vital to the success of the Higher Futures project.
Professor Jill Brunt, Acting Deputy Director of the Widening Participation in Learning Strategy Unit at the Department of Health, was the keynote speaker. She delivered an interesting and engaging presentation on skills, lifelong learning and the region, drawing on her experience of working in the area.
Rob Harrison, Director of Higher Futures, and Professor Rhiannon Billingsley, Chair of the network, also gave speeches.
