Progression milestone success: facilitating progression for employees

Higher Futures reached a significant milestone with the signing of our first workplace progression agreement today.
Representatives from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield Hallam University formally signed the agreement, which will give employees the opportunity to progress to the university's Advanced Diploma Nursing Studies (Adult or Mental Health Nursing) from NVQ or Access courses.
Higher Futures' health and social care Sector Development Officers, based at the Sheffield College, facilitated the negotiation of the agreement in collaboration with staff from the university's Faculty of Health and Wellbeing and the Trust's Training and Development Unit.
