Travel to Sheffield

Sheffield is well served by rail and road. The city is easily reached by rail from London (2½ hours) Newcastle (2 hours), Manchester (1½ hours) and Birmingham (1½ hours) and the principal services on the north-east/south-west rail route pass through Sheffield. The M1 motorway (junction 33) gives direct access to the city from north and south. Access from the west is via the A57 and from the east via the M18/M1.
