" To deliver a weight management project that impacts positively on local people"


Over the past two years Sheffield Hallam University has delivered the 'Small Changes'programme to participants within the Sheffield region'Small Changes' is a psycho-social weight management intervention programme.  This type of intervention typically delivers dietary and physical activity advice in combination with awareness raising activities and self-selected goal setting.
Successful 'Small Changes' outcomes to date include participants achieving a greater sense of well-being, coupled with weight loss and reduced free-living energy intake amongst a variety of other, as yet unpublished, positive changes including reduced waist circumference and healthy changes in body composition.

All Saints Trust have awarded us £50,000 to deliver the Small Changes Weight Management Project over the next 12months!

The All Saints Educational Trust was set up with money from the sale of a Teacher Training College in Tottenham, North London, in 1978. The College of All Saints was itself an amalgamation of two other colleges founded in Victorian times by Christian organisations. Since its inauguration in 1979 The Trust has made awards totalling several million pounds to hundreds of individuals.

The All Saints Educational Trust is an Educational Charitable Trust that makes awards annually to students and organisatAll Saintsions.

Their main purposes are to:

  • help increase the number of qualified teachers
  • improve the skills and qualifications of teachers
  • encourage research that would assist teachers in their work
  • support specifically the teaching of Religious Studies and Home Economics and
    related areas.
