Hello! My name is Ruchika Julka and I am your Student Support Officer.

I will be your first point of contact throughout your time at University, and you may want to see me about issues including:

- Practical issues around adjusting in the new environment

- Home sickness, cultural shock

- Personal worries or stress

- University rules and regulations, including advice on extenuating circumstances

- Planning your workload, meeting deadlines and extension requests    

- Study skill support, language support

- Understanding your results

- Referral onto other University services including immigration and visa advice

- Anything else that you are worried about or need advice or guidance about
