Help and support for those affected by redundancy and unemployment

Higher Futures has received funding to provide support for individuals and employers that have been hit by the economic downturn. We work independently, and with external partners such as Jobcentre Plus to enhance the support for individuals and groups affected by redundancy or unemployment by providing co-ordinated information, advice and guidance (IAG) services tailored to the needs of the individual.

Can we help you?

  • If you are unemployed or your job is at risk and you have either a qualification higher than GCSE ( e.g A-level, BTEC National, NVQ3, HNC/D, Foundation Degree, Degree) or you have worked in a technical/managerial/supervisory position, we can help you. Click here for more information.

  • If you are an employer and the recession is impacting on your business and staff, click here for information about how we can support you.

If you would like to improve your employability by enhancing your existing skills, or are considering a change of career direction but don't want to commit to lengthy study, we have a selection of short courses and taster courses which may interest you. Click here for more information.

This project compliments the work of the Higher Futures network and our commitment to supporting the progression of vocational learners. To find out more about the Higher Futures network, click here.
