Free course - Introduction to Sheffield Hallam University
If you are considering becoming a mature student at Sheffield Hallam University, there are some informal sessions that you can come along to, to give you a taste of what it might be like to study at university and speak to mature students about their experiences. These suitable for those who have applied to university, are going to apply or are just thinking about it. You won't be pressured to join a course.
The sessions are FREE, one of which takes place at Sheffield Hallam University Open Day, where you will have the opportunity to visit departmental stands and talks.
On each date there is a half day session, repeated later the same day. There will also be an opportunity to make a follow up one to one appointment with an adviser to assist you with making decisions.

Sunday 20th June - 10am - 12pm, room 920, Owen Building, City Campus and 1pm - 3pm, room D013, Heart of the Campus at Collegiate Crescent Campus.
Information about making the most of the Open Day, a tour of the campuses, an opportunity to visit information stands and ask questions. - University life as a mature student
Tuesday 29th June either 10am - 1pm OR 5pm - 8pm in room 9006, Furnival Building, City Campus.
An introduction to study skills, a 'taster' lecture and an opportunity to speak with current mature students.
