Small Project Scheme incorporating Case Studies
One of the key activities of CPLA has been to promote development initiatives, designed by academic and professional staff, who wish to focus on student learning at the level of a module. The staff work individually or in small teams with the aim of developing innovative learning and teaching approaches designed to enhance the students' capacity to learn autonomously. In 2008-2009 we supported 24 projects which employed a wide range of innovative learning and teaching approaches to enhance the student learning experience at Sheffield Hallam University. The development of the scheme for 2009-2010 has reflected our increasing focus on interdisciplinary projects.
In January 2009, all project participants took part in a poster exhibition which gave everyone an opportunity to show case their projects, network with colleagues and gain feedback on the work they were doing. For poster presentations of the 2008-2009 projects, please click here
