Student Support
Whilst studying as a Hallam University student you will be supported via a number of people both at the University itself and the Clinical environment where you will partake many hours of skills practice and development. They include;
Associate Mentor
- Qualified practitioners on the shop floor.
Mentor
- Practitioners who have gained both a degree and mentorship qualifications.
Clinical Placement Coordinator
- Experienced practitioner who organises the rotation in the clinical placement.
Link Lecturer
- A Lecturer who visits the placement to act as a communications link between the university, clinical environment and students placed there.
Personal Tutor
- A University lecturer who acts as a support for individual students ether for academic, clinical or life issues.
Placement Coordinator
- A University Lecturer who oversees all the placement sites.
Student Support
- A specialist branch at Sheffield Hallam University that is dedicated to supporting the student, whatever the issue may be.
